Janet Lynn Kilgore, 73, died Saturday, June 14, 2025, in Liberal.
She was born April 20, 1952 to Rex and Wilma Jean (Phillips) Brown.
She married Richard Kilgore Sept. 1, 1982. He preceded her in death.
She dedicated her life to caring for others, both professionally as a registered nurse and personally as a devoted family member.
She loved gardening, baking, and finding joy in putting puzzles together. Her passion for animals was also notable, as she shared her life with several beloved dogs, including her last companion, Leah.
Survivors include sons, Rex Evans and Shelby, Hugoton, and Brad Evans and wife Kristine, Hugoton; stepdaughters, Cindy Cram and Charla Roehr; brother-in-law, Dale Britton, Moore, Okla.; eight grandchildren: Zach Cram, Lindsey Cram, Brittani Roehr, Nick Evans, Bailee Kiley, Lyla Evans, Myka Evans, and Analise Price; great-grandchildren, Carter Kiley and Myles Kiley; nieces, Kelle Gaske and Cristine Pearson; and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Karen Britton.
• Celebration of Life services will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday, June 21, 2025 at Stevens County Memorial Hall at 200 E. 6th Street in Hugoton.
