Lewis G. Collins, 70, died Friday, Aug. 8, 2025 at home in Perryton, Texas.
He was born Aug. 14, 1954 to Loren Collins and Joan Henage Collins in Liberal.
He graduated from Liberal High School and went on to take courses at the vo-tech school in Liberal.
He loved the road, whether it was driving in his work truck or on his Harley.
He loved children and animals as well as working on his bikes with his sons.
Survivors include three daughters: Tiffany Parish and husband, Justin, Perryton, Texas, Tosha Collins, Liberal, and Angela Robbins, Dennison, Texas; sons, Jonathon Collins, Emmalena, Ky. and Loren Lee Collins, Emmalena, Ky; sister, Lori Merz and husband, Steve, Liberal; brother, John Collins, Liberal; six granddaughters: Ezra, Perryton, Texas, Ashlyn Loredo, Cactus, Texas, Vicky Collins, Emmalena, Ky., and Legacy, Taviera, and Catalina Boga, Liberal; and six grandsons: Bently Roach, King and Ferrius Olson, Liberal, Lewis Mondale, Mikey, and Tony Collins of Emmalena, Ky.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Kenneth "Gene," Charles, and Everett; and stepson, Allen Yeager.
• Memorial services for friends and family will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 7, 2025 at the Museum of the Plains in Perryton, Texas.
