Rosa Hernandez Aguirre, 59, passed away peacefully Friday, Aug. 15, 2025, in Lubbock, Texas.

Born on August 30, 1965, in Canutillo, Durango, Mexico, Rosa was the beloved daughter of Cruz Hernandez and Tomasa Aguirre.

In 1987, Rosa married the love of her life, Manuel Gameros, in Mexico. Together they built a home filled with love, faith, and unwavering dedication. Their union was blessed with two children and, later, three adored grandchildren who brought immense joy to her life.

Rosa was a hardworking and respected employee in fabrication at National Beef, where she dedicated more than 30 years of service. Her strong work ethic, integrity, and quiet strength earned the admiration of her coworkers and community alike.

To her family, Rosa was everything, and she was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and the most doting grandmother. She was the heart of her home: selfless, nurturing, and endlessly kind. Rosa was always ready to help anyone in need, never turning away someone who needed support. Her generosity and warmth touched the lives of all who knew her.

Rosa also enjoyed the simple joys in life. Monday nights were sacred for one special tradition she never missed – bingo. It was her time to relax, laugh, and enjoy the moment, something she looked forward to each week.

Rosa is survived by her loving husband, Manuel Gameros; her children, Gerardo Gameros and his wife, Alejandra, and Denise Gameros and her husband, Luis Lopez; her beloved grandchildren: Luna Gameros, Luis Gameros, and Sugely Lopez, all of Liberal. She is also survived by her cherished siblings: Catarino Hernandez, Raymundo Hernandez, Tomasa Gameros, Maria Luisa Reyes, Rosa Emma Hernandez, Eustolia Arzola, Francisca Hernandez, Cruz Hernandez, and Maria Jacques.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cruz Hernandez and Tomasa Aguirre; and her brothers Antonio Hernandez and Jesus Baltazar Hernandez.

Rosa's legacy is one of love, strength, and service to others. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
