Robert “Rowdy” Dean Hill, 70, died Thursday, Sept. 25, 2025, in Enid, Okla.
He was born Sept. 28, 1954 to Verl and Patricia Hill.
He traded in his final year of high school for a practical education by joining the workforce. His early career included time as an over-the-road trucker and a machinist. At the age of 30, he found his professional home at Ernest and Spencer, where he remained for 41 years.
Along the way, he met the love of his life, Kathy, and together they built a life.
He was always full of mischief, quick with an ornery grin that often signaled an inappropriate joke or a bit of fun. He never shied away from a challenge and poured many of his traits into his family.
In his free time, he enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycles, taking quiet days of fishing, and collecting firearms.
Survivors include five children: Harley Davidson, Moscow, Jacki Romero, Guymon, Okla., Leslie Hill, Enid, Okla., Jake and wife, Tiffany Hill, Enid, Okla., and Nikki Hill, Enid, Okla.; brother, Vernon Hill, Topeka; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Kathy Hill.
