Carrol Gene Kallenbach, 95, died Friday, Nov. 21, 2025, at beloved home in Rolla.

He was born Aug. 2, 1930 to Ray and Loretta (Jackson) Kallenbach.

He graduated from Rolla High School.

He married Barbara Long. They later divorced.

He was awarded the Man of the Year award in Morton County.

His commitment to agriculture was evident in his daily life, and he enjoyed working with cattle.

He was especially proud of his grandchildren, often attending their sports events and other activities.

He served in the United States Army.

Survivors include sons, Ray Lee Kallenbach and wife, Dana, Rolla, and Darel Kallenbach and wife, Susan, Church Point, La.; daughters, Teresa Braymen, Hugoton, and Barbara Campbell, Rolla; six grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son-in-law, Dennis Campbell; grandson, Justin Craig Campbell; and sisters, Maxine Edelman and Delores Morgan.

• Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2025 at the Rolla Methodist Church in Rolla, with Pastor Wesley Young presiding. Military honors will be presented by the United States Army and the Southwest Kansas Honor Guard at the Rolla Cemetery.
