MEADE – Reverend Mark A. Mozeik, 73, died Saturday, Nov. 22, 2025 at his home in Meade.
He was born October 9, 1952 to Carl and Marie (Sloss) Mozeik.
He married Barbara Grguras Feb. 5, 1977. She survives.
He graduating from Taylor Alderdire High School in Pittsburgh. He later attended Concordia University in Wisconsin, receiving his degree in divine studies. He later attended Concordia Theological Seminar in Fort Wayne, Ind., graduating in 2011.
After his graduation, he served his vicarage and was called to serve at St. John Lutheran Church in Lawton, Okla. In 2013, he was then called to serve in Newkirk, Okla. In 2023, they moved to Meade, where he began ministering to the congregation of St. John Lutheran Church.
He enjoyed coin collecting, working in his garden, playing racquetball, taking trips to Branson and Louisiana, being the puppeteer for Vacation Bible School, and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors also include daughter, Andrea Holub and husband, David, Newkirk, Okla.; granddaughter, Rose Holub, Newkirk, Okla.; brother, Kenneth (Ken) Mozeik and wife, Cheryl, Pittsburgh; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Diana Lydon.
• Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, 2025 at St. John Lutheran Church in Meade.
Burial will follow at the Atwater Cemetery in Meade.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 28, 2025 at Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary in Meade.
