Randall “Randy” Wayne Lewis, 73, died Saturday, Nov. 29, 2025, in Wichita.
He was born Sept. 30, 1952 to Vondell and Oretha (Ayers) Lewis.
He enjoyed spending time with family, whether it was camping and hiking at the river, riding dirt bikes, exploring Black Mesa, or picking up his grandchildren for hot chocolate.
He served as an EMT in Morton County and shared his expertise as an EMT instructor/director for many years.
He owned and operated the Ole Butcher Shop, a second-generation family business in Elkhart, passing down his skills to his sons, grandsons, and even his great-grandson.
He was a member of the Jaycees, helping sponsor Little Britches Rodeos, and worked at the Elkhart Cemetery in recent years.
He was active at his local senior center and enjoyed visiting with friends there.
He enjoyed taking a watercolor painting class with his niece, coloring pictures, and exploring genealogy.
Survivors include his mother; his wife, Kay Lewis; sons, Brandon Lewis and wife, Jubi, and Chad Lewis; six grandchildren: Drake Lewis and companion, Mariah, Brady Lewis and wife, Bridget, Kailyn Lewis and fiancé Logan, Haddi Emmert, Savanah Emmert, and Coleman Lewis; and five great-grandchildren: Lia, Oliver, Easton, Elle, and Koa.
He was preceded in death by his father; and brother, Eddie Reece Lewis.
• Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025 at the Elkhart Cemetery in Elkhart.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5, 2025 at Robson Funeral Home in Elkhart.
