Betty Ann Knoll, 88, died Thursday, April 25, 2024 at Satanta District Hospital in Satanta.
She was born March 23, 1936 to Frank and Margaret (Rohr) Dechant.
She married Marcellus Knoll Oct. 5, 1954. He preceded her in death April 15, 1993.
She was a graduate of Collyer High School with the Class of 1954.
She enjoyed puzzles, camping, and most of all, she loved being with her family.
She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Liberal.
Survivors include sons, Rodney Knoll and wife, Bethany, and Blaine Knoll and wife, Shelia; daughters, Debra Arellano and husband, Eli, and Sarah Chancey and husband, Bob; three brothers: Eugene Dechant, Duane Dechant, and Harold Dechant and wife, Madeline; four sisters: Rose Ziegler, Marietta Dechant, Barb Zerr and husband, Henry, and Ann Ziegler; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; three sons,: Marlin Knoll, Blake Knoll, and Gary Knoll; twin infant daughters, Janet and Janice Knoll; three brothers: Alvin Dechant, Herb Dechant, and Virgil Dechant; and sisters, Irene Sander and Evelyn Erickson.
• Funeral services took place Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at the Miller Mortuary Chapel in Liberal.
Burial took place at the Liberal City Cemetery in Liberal.
