Arely “Pulguita” (Little Flea) Tarango, 20, died Sunday, May 26, 2024 in Ellis County, Okla.
She was born April 1, 2004 to Gustavo and Marisa Tarango (Sigala).
She graduated from Liberal High School in 2022 and went on to pursue a career with Southwest Medical Center as an accounting clerk.
She brought joy and light wherever she went and was always wearing a smile. She had a deep love for food. Her enthusiasm for Mexican music and dancing brought happiness to those around her.
She took pride in driving her uncle's truck and never hesitating to lend a helping hand to friends and family with party decorations.
She loved and cared for her sister and supported her by attending her sporting events.
She is survived by her parents; sister, Ilani Tarango; grandparents, Martha and Isidro Sigala; and grandmother, Maria Perales.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Armando Tarango; and uncle, Luis Sigala.

Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church at 1510 N. Calhoun Avenue in Liberal.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Liberal, with Reverend Charles Seiwert and Deacon Ruben Sigala presiding.
Burial will take place at the Liberal City Cemetery in Liberal.
