ELKHART – Glenda Kaye Daves, 81, died Saturday, June 15, 2024 at Morton County Hospital in Elkhart. 

She was born April 11, 1943 to Berlin and Zelpha “Tommy” (Stewart) Crites.

She married Tracy Daves Aug. 21, 1960. He preceded her in death.

She worked at J&J Oilfield Services, Boaldin Appliance and DJ’s Variety Store.

She loved her time spent with friends and family, eating, shopping and playing Bridge. 

She was a member of Hillcrest Southern Baptist Church.

Survivors also include children: Allen Daves, Durant, Okla., Lisa Tucker and husband, John, Elkhart, and Lana Daves, Elkhart; grandchildren: Tiffani Tucker Dudley and husband, David, Kayla Daves Langston and husband, Chris Greenhaw, Jarrod Tucker and wife, Linell, Peyton Daves and wife, Patience, Makenna Daves and Megan Daves; great-grandchildren: Kacey Langston, Gunner Langston, Cooper Dudley, Kenadi Dudley, Paisley Greenhaw, Kyla Tucker, Luke Tucker, Carter Daves, and Gabby Tucker; and great-great-grandchild, Kendal Langston.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; and grandson, Jordan Forbit.

• Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at the First Church of God in Elkhart, with Reverend Terrell Giddens presiding. 

Burial will follow at the Elkhart Cemetery in Elkhart.
