ULYSSES – Patricia Lea Feezor, 81, died Saturday, June 15, 2024 at her home in Ulysses.
She was born July 27, 1942 to Russell and Mary Lou (Johnson) Ryser.
She married Marvin Feezor Sept. 7, 1963. He survives.
She graduated from Cheyenne Wells High School in Cheyenne Wells, Colo. She then furthered her education at Fort Hays State University where she obtained a bachelor’s degree.
She worked as the office manager and was co-owner of Satanta Lumber Company, Sublette Furniture Store and later, Ulysses Building Supply.
She was an avid quilter, belonging to a quilting guild, an active member of the Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, and enjoyed traveling.
Her greatest joy was her grandchildren and great-grandson, and she thoroughly enjoyed the time she spent with them.
She was also a member of the Satanta Arts Council and St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Garden City.
Survivors also include son, Eric Feezor and wife, Holly, Ulysses; daughter, Karla Hennebold and husband, Jon, North Plains, Ore.; brothers, Randy Ryser and wife, Shirley, McCook, Neb., and Kelly Ryser and wife, Karen, Hays; sister, Carmen Medina and husband, Jess, Kyle, Texas; four grandchildren: Andrea Feezor, Nick Feezor, Ben Hennebold and Amelia Henelbold; great-grandson, Levi Hennebold; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Dana Gerstner and Vicki Kirby.
• Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 20, 2024 at Garnand Funeral Home Chapel in Ulysses, with Reverend Canon Cameron Randle presiding.
Burial will follow at the Ulysses Cemetery in Ulysses.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at Garnand Funeral Home in Ulysses.
