Henry “Hank” Junior LeMonnier, 84, died Thursday, June 20, 2024 at Good Samaritan Society in Liberal.
He was born Sept. 3, 1939 to Edwin and Ruby (Stagner) LeMonnier.
He married Marilyn Ann Cox Aug. 16, 1958. She preceded him in death Aug. 16, 2014.
He married Jane Mobley Aug. 26, 2017. She survives.
He was a semi-truck driver for 40 years, with 35 of those at Nash Finch Co., retiring in 1999.
He enjoyed traveling, and made his way through all 50 states, and he also visited all the Canadian Provinces and four states of Mexico in his RV with his family.
He also played card games with friends and put together many puzzles.
Survivors also include children: Terri Wenzel and husband, Doug, Wichita, Eddie LeMonnier and wife, Deana, Beaver, Okla., and Tammi Fronk and husband, Darrin, Joppa, Ala.; son-in-law, Max Vangieson, Liberal; sister, Wanda Marie Hughs, Plains; six grandchildren: Darrin Fronk, Tahnee Wenzel, Matthew Schneweis, Tara Cole, Ashley Farmer and Rachel Vangieson; and 10 great-grandchildren: Kelee Cole, Lucas Mathia, Abby Fronk, Eli Fronk, Kaden Cole, Ryah Schneweis, Aria Farmer, Rhett Fronk, Oliver Schneweis, and Teagan Farmer.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Tina (LeMonnier) Vangieson; and sister, Goldie (LeMonnier) Crabtree.
o Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 29, 2024 at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church at 1200 W. 11th Street in Liberal, with Reverend Jason Toombs presiding.
A private burial will take place.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, June 28, 2024 at Hornung Family Funeral Home at 1212 W. 2nd Street in Liberal.
