MEADE – Roy Wade Geddes, 69, died Saturday, June 22, 2024 in Meade.
He was born February 19, 1955 to Orville (O.M.) and Elma (Reny) Irene (Adams) Geddes.
He married Pat Smith. After several years of marriage, the couple separated.
He later had a long term relationship with Connie Alley. She preceded him in death Oct. 12, 2020.
He graduated from Meade High School in 1973.
After his graduation, he began his career, working in the oilfields for many years.
He enjoyed fishing, camping, riding his motorcycles, and had a deep devotion to his dogs.
Survivors include son, Terry Geddes, Meade; daughter, Megan Geddes, Corpus Christi, Texas; brother, Orville Geddes and wife, Kim, Meade; and one granddaughter.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, James Fred Geddes and E.C. Geddes.
• According to his request, cremation has taken place and a private family celebration of his life will take place at a later date.
