Florentino Ramirez Medina, 80, died Thursday, July 4, 2024 at his home in Liberal.
He was born June 17, 1944 to Juan Ramirez and Maria Medina.
He married Guadalupe Armida Romero June 21, 1976. She survives.
He worked for many years as a carpenter, most recently in cabinetry and countertops.
Survivors also include four sons: Carlos Ramirez Romero, Miguel Ramirez Romero and wife, Ivonne Gonzalez, Florentino Ramirez Romero, and Felipe Ramirez and wife, Gina; daughters; Diana Martinez, and Alejandra Ramirez and wife, Jessica Juarez; brother, Juan Manuel Ramirez Medina; three sisters: Rosa Maria Paz, Ilda Rosario Medina, and Luz Elena Medina; 13 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, David Ramirez Medina and Francisco Javier Medina.
• Funeral services took place Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Liberal, with Rev. Charles Seiwert presiding.
A private family burial has taken place.
