ULYSSES – Virginia Arlene Diaz, 70, died Saturday, July 6, 2024 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
She was born May 21, 1954 to Phillipe and Florence (Muniz) Guerrero.
She married Esteban Diaz Oct. 4, 1973. He survives.
She worked at Grant County Feeders for 38 years.
She enjoyed being with her family, playing cornhole and lotteria, and barbecuing.
Survivors also include children: Lisa Marie Carrillo and husband, Felipe, Connie Monzon and husband, Adrian, Esteban Diaz, Jr. and wife, Estibali Garcia, and Jose Diaz and wife, Alena; brother, Jessie; sisters: Berta, Barbara, Frances, Chrissy, Bernie, Lori, Cindy, and Sophia; 21 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Phillipe Guerrero.
• Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, July 12, 2024 at Emmanuel Ministierio, with Pastor George Devora presiding.
Burial will follow at the Ulysses Cemetery in Ulysses.
