Robert "Bob" Cotter, 87, died Tuesday, July 9, 2024 in Liberal.

He was born Oct. 17, 1936 to Earl and Ethel (Miller) Cotter.

He married Bernadean Kraber Aug. 11, 1990. She preceded him in death March 4, 2010.

He graduated from Buffalo High School in Buffalo, Okla. with the Class of 1954.

He worked many years around farming and also worked in the parts departments for Coldwater Implement, Keating Tractor, and Detroit Diesel before retirement.

He enjoyed tinkering, traveling, and antiques, and was also known for meticulously caring for his yard.

Survivors include stepdaughter, Charla Webb (Jerry), Goodwell, Okla.; stepson, Jay D. Payne and partner, Judy Bentley, Leedey, Okla.; grandson, Jace Webb, Goodwell, Okla.; four sisters-in-law: Jean Bane, Elkhart, Irma Lee Daniels, Rolla, Alice Hill, Tyrone, Okla., and Sharon Kraber, Guymon, Okla.; brother-in-law, Harold Hoffman, Buffalo, Okla.; and special friends and neighbors, Al and Cheryl Pittendrigh.

He was also preceded in death by his parents; three sisters: Margie Hoffman, Earleen Boston, and Margaret Kinny; three brothers: Eldon Cotter, Wiley Cotter, and Vernon Cotter; stepdaughter, Dixie Stockman; son-in-law, Tom Stockman; grandson, Noah Akers; and best friend, Ben Webb.

• Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 13, 2024 at the Rolla Cemetery in Rolla, with Pastor Jess Lee presiding.

Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday, July 12, 2024 at Miller Mortuary in Liberal.
