Francisco Vicente, 55, and his wife, Maria Lux Pu, 47, died Monday, July 8, 2024 in Texas County, Okla.
Francisco was born July 20, 1968 to Osorio Pu and Sebastiana Vicente.
Maria was born Nov. 15, 1976 to Hilario Lux and Isabela Pu.
The church was a big part of their lives. Francisco and Maria were pastors at the Iglesia de Dios Pentecostes 119 W. 4th Street in Liberal, and 301 Main Street in Guymon, Okla.
Survivors include their sons: Diego Vicente, Alabama, Osorio Vicente and wife, Marta Suar, Liberal, Vidalio Batz Lux, Liberal, and Juan Hilario Vicente Lux, Liberal; daughters: Sebastiana Vicente Perez and husband, Gaspar de la Cruz of Guatamala, Juana Vicente Perez and husband, Mario de la Cruz, Guatamala, Manuela Vicente Perez and husband, Pedro Zetino, Ana Batz Lux and husband, Miguel Batz Lux, Guatemala, Isabela Batz Lux and husband, Miguel Pu Rodriguez, Liberal, and Imia Isabel Vicente Lux, Liberal; brothers: Francisco Batz Vicente and wife, Gregoria Tińo, Liberal, Manuel de Jesus Lux and wife, Maria Perez, Liberal, Virgilio Lux and wife, Dominga Solis Castro, Arkansas, and Eugenio Lux and wife, Catarina Tojin, Guatemala; sisters: Isabel Vicente and husband, Marciano Valazquez, Liberal, Candelaria Batz Vicente, Guatemala, and Francisca Batz Vicente and husband, Tomas Lorenzo, Guatemala; and 14 grandchildren.
• Funeral services will be from 12 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, July 28, 2024 at Iglesia de Dios Pentecostes, 119 W. 4th Street in Liberal.
Burial will take place at Aldea Cruz Chich in Guatemala.
