Alfonso Rios Jr, 52, died Thursday, Aug. 8, 2024 at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal.
He was born March 19, 1972 to Alfonso Rios and Anita Avila.
He married Alma Tarango-Salcido March 30, 2002. She survives.
He worked for Madden Oil for several years and in August 2018, he went to work at Liberal Kenworth, holding a position in inside parts sales.
He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.
He also enjoyed shooting pool, playing softball, grilling steaks, and smoking the Thanksgiving turkey.
Survivors also include his mother; son, Sebastian Alfonso Rios; daughter, Stephane Reene Rios; and three sisters: Elsa Murillo and husband, Victor, Edna Arredondo and husband, Salvador, and Elisa Rios.
He was preceded in death by his father; and brother, Adrian Rios.

There will be no burial as cremation will take place.
Friends may call from 1:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2024 at the Miller Mortuary Chapel in Liberal.
