An arrest has been made in the alleged death of a Seward County resident that happened last Sunday.
Payton Dangelo Lapoint, 25, had his first appearance in Seward County District Court this morning. He has been charged with second degree murder and felon in possession of a firearm.
Lapoint was arrested in connection with murder of his father, John Lapoint, Sunday. Sheriff Gene Ward reminded the public all person(s) are presumed innocent until proven in a court of law.
