Southwest Medical Center (SWMC) is launching its 2025 Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) to gather valuable insights from community members regarding healthcare needs in Seward County.

This initiative aims to assess the community’s most pressing health challenges and guide improvements in local healthcare services over the next three years.

To ensure a comprehensive and unbiased assessment, SWMC has partnered with VMG Health, an independent research consulting firm, to conduct a countywide study.

This update will evaluate progress made since the 2022 and 2019 assessments while identifying new priorities to enhance community health and well-being.

Community members are encouraged to participate in a brief online survey, available from Jan. 16 to March 15. The survey is accessible via the Southwest Medical Center website, the SWMC Facebook page, and through the following links:

“All responses are confidential and will be instrumental in shaping future healthcare services in our community,” said Director of Marketing and Business Development Janeth Vazquez. “We appreciate the community’s participation in helping us identify the most important health concerns and opportunities for improvement.”

SWMC encourages all residents and business leaders to complete the survey before March 15. Additional updates will be shared as the assessment progresses.
