Special to the Leader & Times

After a start that saw the Redskins take a 18-point lead, Lakin found a way in the end to win 73-68.

The Redskins jumped out early and had the advantage heading into halftime by 14.

After the third the Broncs had clawed back to down seven. Turnovers and missed free throws once again were the Achilles heel in the fourth as the Redskins couldn’t hold the lead.

Eathan Hernandez paced the Skins with a career high 29 points.
