FIVE RULE Rural Planning
The Seward County Development Corporation is conducting a comprehensive housing study to understand the county’s most pressing housing needs.
Community participation is essential to the success of this initiative. Residents and employers are encouraged to share their perspectives to help shape the future of housing in Seward County.
All residents and employers are invited to participate in a housing survey, available until Friday, March 21. The survey is accessible both online and in paper format. The online English version can be found at: HousingSewardCountyKS.com, while the Spanish version is available at: ViviendaDelCondadoDeSewardKS.com.
Paper copies, available in both English and Spanish, can be picked up at the following locations:
• Kismet Community Library
• Seward County Treasurer’s Office
• City Hall in Liberal
Completed surveys may be mailed to: Bobbi Pettit, FIVE RULE Rural Planning 2123 Central Avenue, Suite D, Kearney, NE 68847.
Alternatively, surveys may be submitted via a drop box located at the Seward County Development Corporation office at 303 N. Kansas Ave. in Liberal.
An employer specific survey has also been made available specifically for county employers and can be completed online at: www.surveymonkey.com/r/SewardCoKS_Employers.
The housing study is being completed in partnership with Bobbi Pettit, AICP of FIVE RULE Rural Planning in Kearney, Neb. SCDC recognized the critical role housing plays in improving the lives of all residents and supporting economic growth.
