LETTER TO THE EDITOR, Reita Isaacs, Liberal

After a long, hard day of yard work, I should be completely wiped out, but that hasn’t happened, and now I’m just sitting here trying to decide what to address first.

Let’s start with the Indian Airline crash last week. You’re living in a dream world if you are entertaining any thoughts that was an accident. Another Boeing just dropped from the sky? Absolutely not. Wonder who was a passenger that had the formula for a new drug that saves lives and was going to have it developed and shared? Bad for Big Pharmaceuticals.

How about someone having knowledge of secrets so vital to the individual, company, or country they had to be eliminated? The basketball player and the three doctors with medical information whose helicopter just didn’t make it?

Were you convinced the plane carrying the family from Mexico was just another unfortunate accident? Out of sight, out of mind.

Here’s where I get back on my subject: Artificial Intelligence (AI) is so much more advanced, it can be programmed to do nearly anything, and I understand it’s already trying to reprogram itself. In 2024 Elon Musk said in an interview, that if we weren’t careful we could open it up to demonic activity.

(I almost deleted this, but I saw it,myself). Another interview has him telling of us exploring the galaxies and visiting with others. The last one is where he’s saying there’s already a new “god.”

Elon has developed so much advanced technology that can and is being used for wonderful things, we forget to consider the tremendous potential consequences that can occur now and in the future. The one I’m focusing on is the chip inserted in the brain to control different functions; like the paralyzed being able to walk. Once the chip is inserted in the brain, AI will have complete control of what it can make you feel, see, react, remember, and who knows so much more than we can envision. Pay attention to these weird new mind-altering games and fantasies provided with special goggles.

An indestructible Tesla that sees and responds to everything in and around it. A new super sonic jet, space-ships. Almost superhuman. What next?

I’m personally grateful for his help with DOGE , but glad when he dropped out. Too many alpha dogs in the same room.

I’ll end this by asking for prayers for America, Israel, and the world for what has begun with the bombing of Iran by Israel, no matter what your political or religious beliefs are.

Hot chocolate and calling it a day/night.

See you.
