LETTER TO THE EDITOR, Reita Isaacs, Liberal

I just returned from Starley’s fantastic brunch that looked equal, if not better, than the one my son was served at his friend’s home in France recently. What’s for supper?

Down to serious business now.

I received a the Official Judicial Watch Declaration of Independence 250th Anniversary Commemorative Calendar stating July 2025 through December 2026, each month using a famous quote from each. I’ll jump ahead to February 2026 and use President Thomas Jefferson’s which reads: “If we are to guard against ignorance and remain free, it is the responsibility of every American to be informed.”

Who KNOWS? Who CARES?

Which one applies to you? It’s been mind-blowing to me to discover the majority of the average people actually fit both categories. I always say everyone should have their own opinions, even express them; but what a shocker when it comes from someone that shouldn’t fit both categories. Again, I still want he/she to stand up for what he/she believes.

For the willing uninformed, here’s a little sample of how close America and the world are close to a nuclear confrontation involving Israel, America, and Iran. It doesn’t matter how you feel about President Trump, he is the deciding factor about allowing the ultimate bomb only America has, to be used to end the massacre of human life, on both sides. This huge force of energy targets the deep underground secret tunnels that house the nuclear bombs they’re threatening to use to destroy Israel and try to do the same to America.

How many times have I encouraged you stock up on can food, drinking and flushing water, meds, batteries, etc. No more. Just spoke my last words on the subject.

I can’t believe it’s only midafternoon, and it’s way too hot for me to work outside, so off to Braum’s for a strawberry milkshake. I hear it’s good for the soul. What? You say I need more than that? See you.
