After passing an ordinance that does not take effect until January, 2025, the Liberal City Commission has now started to receive public input on the nuts and bolts of the proposed rules, and some want to continue to conversation.

Governor Ronald Reagan, in his 1967 inaugural address, famously remarked, “Freedom is a fragile thing and it’s never more than one generation away from extinction.”
Reagan today might have expanded on his theme by declaring that civilization itself is both fragile and can lost by a generation that recklessly spends its inheritance while neither appreciating nor replenishing it — if not ridiculing those who sacrificed so much to provide it.
Such is the noxious epitaph of the Baby Boomer generation that is now passing after a half-century of preeminence and whose Jacobin agendas have nearly wrecked the nation they inherited.
For approximately nine months during COVID, when many people were concerned about last days, we did a detailed study of the Book of Revelation. Now, beginning last week, we present a brief overall review of the book. After John delivered the message to seven churches, the voice from heaven again spoke. ““Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after these things'" (Revelation 4:1). This verse marks the transition from John's description of "things which were" (chapters 1 to 3), to those which were yet to happen. The words spoken to John by Jesus Christ, the Son of Man and the Living One in chapters 4 and 5, give us visions of heaven, and songs that will be sung there.

Well, this is not true. My parents don’t have tattoos, and I don’t think most of their friends do, although I’ve not done a close inspection. That would be hard to do, and probably not very polite.
While some are still trying to elect the president by popular vote, the Constitution provides the process for electing a president, and it runs through the Electoral College.
Each state is given Electoral votes by adding their total number of House and Senate members in Congress.
Kansas has six Electoral Votes while California has 54. While larger populated states have a numerical advantage, smaller populated states have a heavier weight per Electoral vote. In Kansas, we get one Electoral Vote for every 489,950 Kansans while California gets one for every 722,777 Californians.
