The Lady Red soccer team secured a 3-0 shutout victory over the Wichita East Blue Aces in the second round of the Titan Classic, improving their record to 3-1.

Freshman Lily Guy opened the scoring with 6:17 left in the first half.

Freshman Denisse Garcia scored her first varsity goal in the second half off a well-placed diagonal assist from Guy.

To seal the win, Liliana Santiago capitalized on a direct kick from a yellow card, finding the net from way out with just three seconds remaining.

Defensively, the Lady Red stood strong with goalkeeper Aaliyah Morales making eight saves to preserve the shutout.

The team will return to action at 11 a.m. Saturday against Wichita Classical to wrap up the Titan Classic.
