The Redskins moved to 8-1 on the season and set up a key rematch with Garden City later this week after scoring a 1-0 shutout win over Hays Thursday.
Diego Pavia scored the game’s only goal with an assist from Josh Garcia.
The win sets up a key Western Athletic Conference rematch between Liberal and Garden City. The Redskins dropped a 1-0 decision at home to the Buffaloes for their only loss of the season. The Redskins will travel to Garden City Tuesday in an attempt to even the season series and move into first place in the WAC.
