The Eisenhower Warriors hosted Hays Thursday at dropped both games.

The seventh Warriors started the day off and struggled to stop the Hays offense. The Warriors also committed some turnovers and could not put together a sustainable drive.

By halftime Hays had a 32-0 lead which resulted in a running clock in the second half.

The Warriors did play better defense in the second half and only allowed one touchdown before falling 30-0.

The eighth grade Warriors started off by making Hays drive down the field slowly and had to convert several third downs to keep the drive alive, but Hays was able to reach the end zone to take an 8-0 lead.

The Warriors were able to get a first down on their next drive, but they were not able to keep the drive alive and punted.

That pattern continued for several drives, and Hays was able to convert drives into touchdowns. By halftime, Hays had a 30-0 lead.

Hays stretched the lead to 46-0 late in the fourth quarter before Armando Olivas stripped the ball from a Hays runner and ran the ball 85 yards for a Warrior touchdown for a final score of 46-6.

The Seymour Rogers traveled to Garden City, and the seventh grade lost to the Falcons 42-8.

The eighth grade Apaches struggled and fell 57-12.

The final games of the season will be Thursday’s Crosstown Clash between the Warriors and Apaches. That will take place at Redskin Field.
