The Lady Redskins traveled to Syracuse and split a pair of games.
Liberal opened with a 23-0 win over Syracuse.
Miley Janko had a strong game at the plate with three of Liberal’s 10 hits and three RBIs.
Lexi Miller had a double, and MacKenna Alexander, Karidee McLane, Lizzy Mannel, Marypher Lopez, Melanie Rosales and Avah Herrera each had a hit.
The Liberal bats struggled in Game 2 against Cimarron in a 9-0 loss.
Caidynce Thompson had tow of Liberal’s three hits in the loss. Avah Herrera had Liberal’s other hit.
The Lady Redskins (5-12) travel to Hays today to face the Lady Indians (12-7) in a double header.
Hays comes to Liberal for a single game Thursday.
