The Lady Redskins struggled in the first half at Lakin Tuesday but rallied late to earn a 61-46 win to remain in second place in the Class 6A West standings.

The Lady Redskins trailed by nine at half. The Lady Red only made two of eight free throws in the first half. But Liberal outscored Lakin 45-19 in the second half including a 25-point fourth quarter while holding Lakin to four points.

Shamari Lewis scored 23 points, and Kylie Rhine had 18.
