Kent Leon Taylor, 85, died Saturday, Jan. 25, 2025 in Oklahoma City.

He was born Dec. 15, 1939 to Lawrence and Goldie (Eden) Taylor.

He attended Greenough Elementary school and graduated from Forgan High School with the Class of 1958. He attended one year of college in Goodwell, Okla.

He served two years in the U.S. Army rank SP4 stationed at Fort Wainwright, Alaska.

He moved to Dallas and was employed with Dresser Industries as a machinist for 32 years. He also worked at Lone Field ordering parts for jet engines.

After retiring, he went into real estate and owned multiple properties, doing all of the maintenance, upkeep and remodeling.

He loved playing cards, especially "pitch."

He liked to watch sports on TV and spending time with friends.

Survivors include twin brother, Keith (Joyce) Taylor, Forgan, Okla.; nephews, Wesley Taylor, Forgan, Okla. and Trent (Stephanie) Taylor, Forgan, Okla.; niece, Angela (Ryan) Smith, Gardner; and multiple great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Arlen Taylor; and nephews, Kevin Taylor and Kurt Taylor.
