ULYSSES – Linda Jo Caldwell, 73, died Thursday, Jan. 30, 2025 at her home in Grant County. 

She was born Jan. 26, 1952 to Joe and Modene (Miller) Watie. 

She married Randy Caldwell Feb. 14, 1973. He survives.

She owned Feathers to Flowers. She also worked at Something Special and Obsessions, and was the bookkeeper for the family farm.

She never missed any activities her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were involved in, and was always their biggest cheerleader.

She also loved to cook, go shopping and travel.      

Survivors also include daughter, Michelle Caldwell; son, Casey Caldwell; sisters, Peggy Phelps and Bobbie Wilson; brother, Kelly Watie and wife, Lucy; granddaughter, M’Lynn Everett and husband, Bryce; great-grandchildren, Britlynn and Blair; and many nieces and nephews.

• Funeral services took place Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2025. 

Burial took place at the Ulysses Cemetery in Ulysses. 

Memorials are suggested to the COPD Foundation or American Diabetes Association in care of Garnand Funeral Home, 405 W. Grant Ave, Ulysses, KS 67880.
