Leola Ruth (Coffey) Seabolt, 83, died Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2025 in Meade.
She was born Nov. 5, 1941 to Harold and Alene (McKinnis) Coffey in Liberal.
After graduating from Liberal High School, she dedicated herself to raising her family.
Later in life, she began her professional journey, as payroll clerk for US West and Monfort, and also working as a clerk at Days Inn in Liberal.
She was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority, where she forged many lasting friendships.
Survivors include son, Charles W. Seabolt, Ulysses; daughter, Brenda Rice and husband, Rick, Kismet; and six grandchildren: Boomer Seabolt, Ashton Handy, Alyssa Giles, Amber Mata, Tiffiny Rice, and Melissa Taylor.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter-in-law, Jodi Seabolt; and grandson, Austin Seabolt.
• Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 5, 2025 at the Kismet Cemetery with Neil Coffey presiding.
