ULYSSES – Maria D. Borboa, 81, died Friday, Nov. 14, 2025 at her home in Ulysses.
She was born Aug. 13, 1944 to Francisco and Margarita (Armenta) Riesgo.
She married Peter Borboa Jan. 12, 1963. He preceded her in death.
She enjoyed family time and being involved with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She will be remembered for her amazing cooking and making sure everyone always ate as well as making everyone laugh by saying what was on her mind.
Survivors include her children: Peter Borboa Jr., Ulysses, Phillip Borboa and wife, Lisa, Ulysses, Victoria Barreda (Rene Barreda), Phoenix, and Veronica Borboa, Phoenix; daughter-in-law, Renee Borboa, Middleburg, Fla.; 14 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; and son, Paul Borboa.
