FOWLER – Kyle S. Lewis, 69, died Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2025 at his home in Fowler.
He was born Aug. 27, 1956 to Walter Loren and Wanda C. (Cope) Lewis.
He gradated from Fowler High School in 1975. While in high school, he participated in FFA, football, basketball, track, chorus, and the junior and senior play.
After graduation, he began his career as a farmer and rancher.
He was a member of the Episcopal Church of Meade and later the United Methodist Church of Fowler.
He enjoyed collecting guns, all items John Deere, going to gun shows and antique tractor shows, Fowler Threshing Days, and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include brother, Richard Lewis; nine nieces and nephews: Todd Lewis, Sarah Luna, Laura Lewis, Allison Friedrich, Angela Cherry, Ashley Chambers, Lindsey Quinn, Michael McKinley, and Cheri Leone; aunt, Ellen Verell; and many other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ronald Lewis; sister, Shelly Cherry; sister-in-law Cheryl Lewis; and great-nephew, Nick Finke.
• Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, 2025 at the First Baptist Church in Meade.
Burial will follow at the Fowler Cemetery in Fowler.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 19, 2025 at Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary in Meade.
