Rosalie “Rose” Hazel Luck, 92, died Thursday, Dec. 11, 2025 at Good Samaritan Society in Liberal.

She was born March 2, 1933 to Howard and Nora (Beougher) Moore.

After graduating high school in 1951, she worked as a secretary for Panhandle Eastern and Elkhart Elementary.

She married Donald Lyle Luck in 1954. He preceded her in death.

She participated actively in United Methodist Women, Needles and Friends Quilt Guild, and Mother to Mother Ministry, reflecting her dedication to outreach, supporting mothers, and quilting.

She was an avid quilter and had made quilts for all of her children and 11 grandchildren. She had also made quilts for many special friends.

Survivors include her children: Jeff Luck and wife, Barbara, Elkhart, Kenny Luck, Elkhart, Nancy Edmundson and husband, Stuart, Burlington, Colo., and Darla Myers and husband, Dwain, Ulysses; sister, Anita Davis and husband, Cleon, Hill City; daughter-in-law, Peggy Luck, Ft. Worth, Texas; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Lonnie Luck; granddaughter, Jessica Luck; two brothers; and four sisters.

• Funeral services took place Dec. 16, 2025 at United Methodist Church in Liberal, with Reverend Rusty Husted presiding.

Burial followed at Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Hill City.
