MEADE – Gary Dan Byram, 73, died Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.

He was the owner of Byram Construction and worked at CMS Electric for a number of years. Known for his strong work ethic and dependability, he took pride in his work and in serving his community.

His greatest joys came from time spent with his family, whether it was fishing, watching OU football, or trying his luck at the casino.

Survivors include children, Chriss Isenbart and husband, Bryan, Derby, and Troy Byram and wife, Ashley, Gardner; three grandchildren: Evan Isenbart and wife, Kiani, Haysville, Dylan Isenbart, Derby, and Remington Byram, Gardner; and great-grandchildren, Avalynn and Emery Isenbart, Haysville. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Connie Byram, with whom he shared 55 years of marriage.

• In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place, with a family celebration of his life to take place at a later date. Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary of Meade has been entrusted with arrangements.

Memorials are suggested to Meade District Hospital.
