Frances Kay Cathcart, 76, died Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at her home in Liberal.
She was born Jan. 11, 1948 to Grant and Irene (Stebens) Oshel.
She married Gerald Lee Cathcart Aug. 10, 1965. He preceded her in death July 17, 2019
She worked many years as an invoice clerk for WalMart before retiring in 2017. She was an avid reader and enjoyed dancing, crossword puzzles, and playing online games.
Survivors include sons, Curtis Cathcart, Garden City, and Conrad Keith Cathcart and wife, Lee, Calhan, Colo.; grandsons, Joshua Cathcart, Colorado Springs, and Peter Cathcart, Colorado Springs; sister, Susie Moore, Goodman, Mo.; and brother, Rosco Oshel, Lakin.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; brother, Bobby Cloud; and sister, Sandy Smith.
• There will be no viewing as cremation has taken place.
A come and go gathering celebrating Kay's life will be announced at a later date.
