The public is invited to attend the Candidates Forum beginning at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Rock Island Depot.
Questions will be taken by email at
Written questions will be taken from the live audience during the forum. No oral questions will be taken during the forum.
The candidates for the Register of Deeds will begin the event at 6 p.m. The candidates include Jill Garinger, Lina Hill and Janet Thompson.
Following the forum for the Regsiter of Deeds, the Seward County Commission candidates will begin at 7 p.m. The candidates for Seward County Commission Dist. 1 includes Todd Stanton and C.J. Wettstein. The candidates for Seward County Commission Dist. 5 includes Lamberto Flores, Steve Helm and Bee Symons.
