LETTER TO THE EDITOR, Reita Isaacs, Liberal
This will be short and sweet because it isn’t often I (and many older people) have the occasion to write about such things.
When I looked out my kitchen window last week, I saw a medium-sized branch across my side of the driveway that prevented me from getting the car out of the garage.
All during the day, vehicles kept driving by, mostly men and also some neighborhood men, just ignoring the branch. Lo and behold but if a woman in a red pickup didn’t haul it and all the little sticks and twigs away leaving the whole driveway cleaned off.
Madam, I do not know who you are, but I thank you from the bottom of my heart, as it could still be there. Your momma raised you right.
