The Lady Redskins used a strong wind to build a 7-0 lead in the first half against Bruce Randolph Thursday evening at Redskins Field, and a goal in the second half ended the game with an 8-0 mercy rule win.

Lily Guy started the scoring frenzy after receiving a pass from Isabela Gutierrez in the sixth minute of the game.

Ana Vela scored after a corner kick by Nicole Catalan three minutes later, and Guy scored  another goal off a Yvanna Rivera pass for a 3-0 lead, and Catalan found the net for a 4-0 advantage.

Guy added her third goal moments later. Batista scored off another Gutierrez assist, and with one second remaining in the half. Evilin Tarango received a pass from Denisse Garcia and launched the ball into the goal for a 7-0 lead at half.

Liberal had to battle into a stiff wind in the second half but continued to put pressure on the Bruce Randolph goal.

Liliana Santiago ended the game 18 minutes into the second half when Catalan sent a corner kick to the middle and Santiago put it into the goal for the 8-0 mercy rule win.
