Liberal faced a tough matchup against Derby at the Titan Classic Monday, falling 6-0.
Derby scored four goals in the first half and added two more in the second to secure the win.
Despite the score, freshman Ashley Batista stood out for Liberal, working hard across the field.
The loss dropped the Lady Redskins to 2-1 on the season.
Next up, Liberal takes on Wichita East Wednesday at 4 p.m.
