The Lady Red swim team traveled to Newton for its final meet before the Western Athletic Conference meet. Liberal finished ninth overall with 20 points.

“With more than 20 girls getting a new personal best time at this meet, this was a perfect final meet to sharpen up before WAC,” Liberal coach Ismael Carrillo said.
