The Seward County Lady Saints cruised to a 100-58 win over the Pratt Beavers on Wednesday evening in The Greenhouse.

Seward (15-8, 10-7 KJCCC) snapped a three-game losing streak with the win. The 10 conference wins marks the 30th consecutive season of 10 or more conference wins for Seward.

The Lady Saints have now reached the century mark twice this season with the other being a 102-54 win over Trinidad State on Nov. 1st.

Pratt fell to 5-18 overall, 2-15 in league play.

Seward shot 11-23 (47.8%) from three, 37-71 (52.1%) from the field and 15-17 (88.2%) from the free throw line.

Avery Marchino led the way with a double-double of 26 points and 11 rebounds, also adding four assists. Kimora Fagan and Grace Posch each had 16 points with Posch shooting a perfect 6-6 from the field and 4-4 from three. Tyniah Smith had 12 points, Trinitee Holmes had 12 points and seven rebounds and Destiny Alexander pulled down eight rebounds. 12 Saints saw action with nine getting in on the scoring action.

The Lady Saints led by as much as 43. They forced 21 turnovers and outrebounded Pratt 42-29.

Pratt took an early lead off a three from Emilia Borissova making it 9-7 midway through the first quarter. A Posch layup gave Seward a 16-14 lead with a minute left in the quarter and Posch added a three down the stretch coupled with a Fagan layup to see Seward lead 21-14 after one. They did not trail again.

Seward ended the second quarter on a 9-0 run with Fagan beating the buzzer with a three to send the Lady Saints to halftime with a 43-28 lead.

The third quarter is where Seward blew the game open. They outscored Pratt by 16, 29-13, the biggest margin of the game.

The Lady Saints return to the court on Sunday when they travel to Goodland to take on the Fort Hays Tech Northwest Tigers at noon.
