Wilmer Clarence Perry, 84, died Saturday, April 11, 2026 at his home in Hugoton.
He was born July 8, 1941 to Wilmer and Isabel (Higgins) Perry.
He married LaDonna Kay Blackburn July 24, 1965. She survives.
He served his country as a member of the U.S. Army.
Following his military service, he owned and operated Perry’s Plumbing company for many years.
He was a devoted member of the First Church of God in Hugoton.
He built his own car and took part in the Pinewood Derby Car Club with his two boys, Shelly and Shanon.
Music was another source of delight in his life, especially classic rock and roll.
Survivors also include sons, Shelly and wife, Joan, and Shanon Perry; three brothers: Donald Perry and wife, Paula, Steve Perry and wife, Cynda, and Robert Perry and wife, Margie; sisters, Donna Taylor and Patricia Kleffman; grandchildren: Erin Kurt and husband, David, and Eric Perry and wife, Paige; and great-grandchildren, Violet and Rose Kurt.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Larry Perry.
• Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 17, 2026 at Robson Funeral Home in Hugoton.
Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 18, 2026 at First Church of God in Hugoton.
Burial will follow at Hugoton Cemetery, with the United States Army and Southwest Kansas Honor Guard.
