Julia Marilyn Thomas, 78, of Turpin, Okla., passed into Heaven Sunday, April 26, 2026 in Moore, Okla.
Marilyn was born May 3, 1947 in Hemet, Calif. to William Rollie and Alice Madelyn Gohn.
She graduated from high school in Liberal and then married the love of her life, David R. Thomas.
She worked many different types of jobs in her life to be home when the children were home. She was a nurse's aide, babysitter, school cafeteria worker, clerk, and, for more than 30 years, an optician.

She was born Dec. 14, 1977, to Michael Zimmerman and Vicki Jo (Montgomery) Barkdoll.
She married Michael Sean Tyler Nov. 3, 2001. He survives.
