Wade Leon Robinson, 63, died Friday, June 12, 2026.

He was born Oct. 6, 1962 and was adopted by Mervin and Betty Robinson.

He had a love for music from a very young age. Around the age of 6, his parents gave him a toy guitar, igniting a passion that would stay with him. He even spent a short time playing with a band in Texas.

William “Willie” Milton Ortivez Sr., 75, died Thursday, June 11, 2026, in Great Bend. 

He was born Dec. 21, 1950 to Milton and Amalia Ortivez.

He served in the United States Army and later dedicated many years to his career with Dowell Oil Field, Key, and Smileys.

He was born Sept. 24, 1950 to Tommy and Ileta (Hollopeter) Young.

He graduated from Grant County Rural High School and furthered his education by attending mechanic school in Wichita.

Virginia “Ginger” Carol (Phifer) Mostrom, 81, died Sunday, June 14, 2026, in Wichita. 

Her education journey led her to a Methodist boarding school in Miltonvale, where she attended high school. She later attended Patricia Stevens Finishing School.

She married Oscar Gary Mostrom Feb. 20, 1965, at the United Methodist Church of Hugoton. He preceded her in death.
