Eldon Emmett Wriston, 83, died Friday, May 15, 2026.
He was born Nov. 27, 1942 to Luel and Alta Crites Wriston.
He graduated from Liberal High School in 1961 and went on to serve his community and state through many years of service in the Kansas National Guard.
He worked as an over the road truck driver for many years.
Survivors include sons, Steven Wriston and Eldon Wriston; daughter, Nickie Wriston; grandchildren, Chance and Limn; and close friends, Dean and Velda Royse.
• A private burial will take place at the Liberal City Cemetery.
