Jim Mayer, 66, of Hooker, Okla., died Thursday, Jan. 8, 2026.
He was born Sept. 8, 1959, in Guymon, Okla.
He was known as a devoted son, husband, father, grandfather and longtime rancher.
He is survived by his loving wife, Dallas Mayer; son, Tyler Mayer and wife, Naomi; sister Jane and husband, Roger Skelton; and grandchildren, Jax, Tess and Ava Mayer.
• Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 17, 2026 at The Gospel of Grace Church in Hooker, Okla.
