MEADE – Sandra K. Ergott, 82, died Monday, Jan. 19, 2026 at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice in Wichita.
She was born Sept. 2, 1943 to Kenneth and Velma (Pippitt) Pemberton.
She graduated from Meade High School in 1961.
She had worked as a sales associate for Walmart for many years.
She enjoyed her cats, working puzzles, and spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include daughters, Debi Smith, Meade, and Ronda Herin, Lipan, Texas; five grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Ronny Lee Pemberton.
• In accordance to her requests, cremation has taken place and private family services will take place at a later date. Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary of Meade has been entrusted with arrangements.
Memorials are suggested to the Liberal Animal Shelter or the in care of the funeral home.
