Those looking for help in updating their look now have another option with Certified Lash Lover Suite, located at 20 Plaza Drive, Suite 104.
As owner Cinthia Guevara tells it, she has been working toward her own shop for a long time.
“Ever since I was little, I've wanted to work with people. I used to work on my mom's friends, and I loved working on hair, that was my favorite thing when I was a kid,” Guevara said. “Then, when I grew up and started thinking about what I wanted to do, I started learning about lashes and barbering and all of that, and I ended up really liking it. I went to cosmetology school starting in August 2023 and ended up graduating last May and was learning about lashes, barbering and nails. I did nails for a little while, but it ended up just not being for me, but when we were working on lashes, I ended up really, really liking it and I knew that's what I would want to do when I graduated. So when we were doing our summer hours last June, I put on my social media pages I needed some volunteers to practice on, and I got a flood of messages from people I knew, and I haven't stopped since then.”
Eventually, Guevara said, the timing worked out to where she could have her own space.
“After a while, I had a clientele ready to go. I'd been holding myself back from getting my own space because there was that worry of whether or not I'd have enough clients to sustain my own place, and I worked to build everything else up,” Guevara said. “Then there was one time I was talking to a realtor friend of mine and asked if she had any openings, which she didn't at that time, but then at the end of December was when she called and told me about this space, which I took sight unseen. I'd been looking for some kind of sign that it was time to open my own place, and I got it, and Certified Lash Lover Suite has been open since January. There's not a single day I'm not booked, and I have clients coming in every day. I really enjoy seeing all my clients because we end up connecting and talking about life and everything else, and it's just been great so far. There are times when I even have to squeeze some people in, so it's been really great so far.”
Guevara said she is looking forward to continuing to build up her clientele.
“My main service is the lashes, but I also do body waxing, whether it's your eyebrows, legs, or wherever you need done,” Guevara said. “I would just say come in and see how it feels. I make the shop a very comfortable and nice atmosphere, and you'll have a nice time when you're in my chair. We have a lot of great services here, and we want to help give you a great look. I love making my clients feel beautiful and confident, and I love seeing the positive reactions on their faces afterward. I'm super excited, I can't wait to see everyone who comes into my shop, and I'm really excited to see what God brings me as time goes on. I want to get so many clients that I'm frequently solidly booked, and I'm excited to help people get the look they want.”

“I would encourage everyone to not give up, and keep pushing yourself, because you never know where life is going to lead you. I was so happy with the turnout to the ribbon-cutting, I felt very loved by everyone who took the time to come,” Guevara said. “It's definitely been a journey getting to this point for sure. I want to provide a space that's quiet and peaceful and somewhere where people can find a little tranquility away from the world for a little while, because everyone needs a little alone time to relax and just let themselves be. My goal is to have my salon be peaceful and welcoming to everyone, and I hope we see a lot of people in the community come in.”
